WHO WILL SAVE YOU ?
Mixing electronics and printing in order to make an innovative poster, with the theme of « hand lines »
With palmistry as our subject, we wanted to communicate a message that relates to everyone’s future. We choose to explore people’s involvement with their own fate rather than talk generally about fatality or destiny. We used electronic elements to improve the display of the poster, making it rhythmic, dynamic and interactive.
The first step is to attract people. The graphic is simple and intriging : just a weird face on a bright solid orange.
When you get close to the poster, it starts to communcate with a question, appearing in thermochromic ink : « who will save you ?» If the question is thought provoking, people might stop.
After a while, the face unfolds (using nitinol wire) to reveal the reflexion of the viewer’s face in the miror beneath. The question desappears, except for the word « you ». This YOU and the reflection of your face provide the answer to the question.
